Picking the right lighting fixture
Inplant buildings, while making effective
use of warehouse space, can be difficult to light
properly. This is particularly true if you are using modular
offices where one or more employees are working at desks with
paperwork or computers.
In this "office" type setting the moderate brightness will be required for employees to avoid straining their eyes. Too much lighting in a reading area can cause glare resulting in eye strain. Use 75- to 100-watt bulbs for the best reading ro working light.
A combination of direct and indirect lighting is
best for these types of offices. An addition of indirect overhead
lighting, such as track lights, will diffuse the brightness
of the desk lamp and ease eye strain.

Fluorescent lights are used in commercial areas because it
is more economical by using less energy the bulbs last longer.
